I had success soaking mine for about 1 hour (keep it submerged in water), then hotwired it straight from battery. At first it didn't turn over, but with my fingers I turned the shaft at the bottom of it and voila, it coughed, ran, stopped again, sputtered, and then ran perfectly. So far so good. Good luck Matthias On Mar 19, 2007, at 10:03 AM, Tom Buese wrote: > On Mar 19, 2007, at 10:44 AM, Loren Busch wrote: > > >> BTW, it's Westfalia, not Westphalia > > Correctomundo-where is Joy when we need her? grin > > Which brings up the ? of why is it spelled w/ an "f" instead of a > "ph" like the English maps of germany? > > Tom B.-ancestors came over from Westphalia area in 1840's
