I know this is in jest, but I think it's the other way around. Rising sea
levels mean FEWER beaches, fewer girls in thong bikinis sunning themselves.

Those beaches have taken millennia to become beaches. Now, the rising temps
may mean we'll all be wearing thong bikinis just to stay cool but I don't
know that that is such a good thing given our trend toward national
obesity...
