My experience with Progressive has been the best of any auto insurance
company I've dealt with in the 50+ years I've been driving.  And I've had to
deal with several claims.  Maybe not the cheapest (I haven't compared
recently) but they paid off better than I'd expected when I totaled my '85
Westy.

If you go to the 'consumer rating' websites you will find them dominated by
people that are complaining about perceived problems, the happy customers
aren't there....
