I fled the cold and rain for California last week and the Zebra has
performed flawlessly through some rather arduous 2nd-gear terrain
along the west coast. Not bad for a non-native species.  The only
problem I'm having now is it is getting more and more difficult
finding 1st gear. I adjusted everything according to the manual (while
parked on a deserted california beach, no less - eat yer cold and
soggy hearts out Jake, Neil, and Tabe :)

Anyway, I recently had to replace the harddrive on my laptop and lost
all my bookmarks and archive stuff, so can anyone suggest a parts
dealer close to Santa Rosa (hwy101) who would carry a bushing kit for
an '80 Vanagon? I'm heading for the Fresno area by Monday.
