give us the bum's rush as "undesireables" :)

Man, I would love to be a bum. I hear the working hours are great.

But I am curious - what's the difference between a bum, a low-life, a
generally undesireable, and someone simply choosing an alternative,
low consumerist lifestyle? I thought a lot of westy/vw owners fit that
description. Frankly, I can't understand what the fear is of people
sleeping in tents and RVs and buses along an unpopulated stretch of
scenic highway. One sign explicitly stated "No sleeping in vehicles"
along some of the pull outs.
