Hi all.

Doing what I can to get my van ready for water cooled conversion.

At this stage, (dash off, air/heat box ready) I may install heater hose now.

Obviously it's easier to connect heater hose to core with dash off. But.....

Can heater hose be replaced with dash on?

(pretty sure it can be, but I didn't see in Bentley)

In archive I read of people using FLAPS black 5/8" hose to connect to
heater core.

Do I need to use the shorter molded hoses from heater core to valve
etc. AND the FLAPS stuff, or can I just use the FLAPS stuff from core
to valve etc.?

Bentley appears to show the heat control valve in the cabin. Was this
a change in model years? I thought the valve was installed below
(outside) the sheet metal.
