Yes it is. I have it installed on "Ole Putt" with my Digijetted 2.1. Mileage figures compiled so far haven't suffered, but boy do I luv the additional oomph it provides, especially up the grades. A trip from Ventura, CA to Knoxville, TN in May figures to be a much more enjoyable experience than last year, MMMV ;-) When it comes time to smog it, I switch the ECUs so that the Closed Loop functions. Then I switch it back -- Jim Thompson 84 GL 1.9 "Gloria" 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 73 K Ghia Coupe "Denise" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com *********************************** On 4/2/07, Jim Akiba <syncrolist@bostig.com> wrote: > > Isn't the 112HP ECU also open loop only or is my memory copying/pasting > into > the wrong places? > > Jim > > > ________________________________________ > Bostig Engineering > Engine Systems Voodoo > http://www.bostig.com/ > 617.272.3800 > > > > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Bob Donalds [mailto:donalds1@VERIZON.NET] > Sent: Monday, April 02, 2007 1:34 PM > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > Subject: Re: Euro-spec Digifant ECU? > > The european market used Digijet for the 2.1 engines digfant was to my > understanding export only > So the Upgraded European ECU thats ofen spoken of is for the Digijet thats > includes the 112 HP engine > > > Bob Donalds > Boston Engine
