Bryan, first thing, USE FI (Fuel Injection) LINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (5/16 is
fine, also, use the appropriate FI line collar, not some graden hose one and
not even some bigger FI one, the right one!!!)
Why, because your FI system is under "pressure", those line are stonger than
Carburator line (no pressure), your fuel pump can produce more than 100psi.

Second, the fuel rail ARE NOW FRAGILE, the plastic is now 20+ years old, you
may have a small hairline crack and you don't see it, also, to help push the
new line all the way use W40 or anything similar.

DON'T MESS ARROUND with the fuel rail, this is WHERE it's the most dangerous
fire wise. I can tell you that 1 on 5 fuel rail is bad. Look at it carefully
from the top, if you see any a "banana" shape on those, garbage!

I have over 50 pictures of burned vans, i have removed them from my site
because i didn't want to scare anyone, but i should put them back!

Here is some info:

The only major problem my van has ever had is leaking fuel. It's the only
thing that has caused my van to be towed once in the 10 years I've owned it.
Today I have another leak. Once again it's leaking at the fuel rail for the
injectors which is where it happens most often after the pressure regulator.
I removed the hose (none of my hoses are more than 2 years old) and I
putting in a new one. My first question is what's the best way to get that
hose all the way onto that fuel rail? It's about half way on and I feel that
more pressure or twisting will break that piece of plastic off.

Second, why do I keep getting leaks? I keep putting on new hoses and clamps
and I still get them all the time.

Thanks, Bryan

Feel free to cc me, I'm in digest....
