Keep it. Rear heaters are VERY effective in warming the van throughout, and getting rid of drafts that plague the front seats. In winter, even on the coldest days, with the rear heater running, I only need the front heater set to low. I believe there are a number of heater cores that will work with the rear heater setup. The rabbit heater core worked. I'm sure there are others. Maybe some of the other list members can chime in on this point. Most of the list vendors carry new ones. They are not that difficult to remove and replace. If you replace the core, be sure and put in a new summer/winter control valve as well. Taht way you will have a complete job, ready for the next cold snap! Good Luck, Regards, John Rodgers 88 GL Driver John wrote: > My rear heater core is leaking.
