I checked the foil, checked (and replaced the bulbs) and even tried a new headlight switch. Does anyone have some info on how to bench test the light switch? Or any suggestions on what could be the problem with my dash lights? Tim, check the wire terminal plug to the dash pod. I just had the same problem on that CARAT of mine that I brought out here to Santa Cruz to give my daughter. The terminal strips on the foil were corroded where they make contact with the plug. I think it's the blue/black wire that is power for the instrument lights.
