I think there is a picture of a Vanagon in Japan on the Vanagonlist
picture site.  www.frappr.com/vanagonlist. This Vanagon is in the shadow
of Mt Fuji. I may have seen this picture somewhere else, but there are
Vanagons in Japan.

If it is a new ECU that you need, check out the Vanagon list vendors at
the home page. Bus depot will probably have one. You dont tell us the year
of your Vanagon. The ECU is different in late Vanagons.Cost more,too.

Many issues can be thought to point  to the need for a new ECU. Many times
the problem is elswhere.The ECU is a very durable unit. Tell us the
symptoms your Vanagon is having. Maybe the problem is not a bad ECU.
