I'm jealous. If I played upright bass, I'd gladly make it fit; something
else would have to stay behind!  At least it's possible!  Alas I play piano.
You can't imagine how badly I wish I could join in on some of those music
fest campsite jams. But a piano just just doesn't pack well into a Westy,
and is difficult to carry from campsite to campsite.  Electronic keyboards
are no better, since these are usually acoustic jams in the middle of a
field with no electricity; wandering up with a cheesy Yamaha plastic
keyboard with 4 inch speakers and D batteries just wouldn't cut it.  I wind
up just enjoying the music and playing "air piano" on my lap. :-)
