I have inherited a low mile air cooled Westy. I/we will be using this while
I work on "Rustfalia". the engine is out, and I noticed that I can pull the
input shaft of the manual transmission part way out. the van drove fine
until the engine was pulled. so, do I HAVE to tear into the tranny , or can
I just reinstall the engine and get the rest of the touring season done
first?  any experiences out there.
