How ole' wise list,

As you all know from my posts, I am NOT to knowledgeable when it comes to the
repair of cars. However, I can read so, I am wanting to find out what the
BEST repair book is for my 1987 vanagon.  The Bentley is not to good for me as it
does not have the step-by-step instructions I need.

Who has a pretty good step-by-step repair book that would cover most anything
from the basic to a complete rebuild job?

Any help here would really be appreciated.
