Hey Tonya -

Check the wires going into the starter - may be corroded and need to be cleaned or they just might be loose. I was doing some undercarriage cleaning a while ago and knocked the wires a little loose and had the same symptoms.

engine compartment on first attempt and we found a dry-rot fuel line so we replaced that before further attempts
>
>When you turn the key to the "on" position, you can hear the fuel pump; when you turn to start, I think I hear a click, interior lights dim slightly (not much, just a little), but nothing. We've tried tapping the starter with no luck.
>
>I just need the thing to start ... and I don't need a real "fix". It has other issues that need to be dealt with so a temporary solution would be just fine.
>
>Any advice on where to start?
>Thanks,
>Tonya
>

PC Magazines 2007 editors choice for best Web mailaward-winning Windows Live Hotmail.
