Hi all, Filled the propane tank the other day as a pickerel fishing trip was on tap. ( caught a bunch ) In any case, I turned on the valve to allow the gas to flow to the stove. There was not the usual quiet "click" as the machinery went to work, but rather a elongated hiss of escaping gas. Then a subtle click as the escaping gas flow took several seconds to slow and then stop. I went fishing but on my return a young fellah mentioned that he had smelled propane near the van. So I turned off the valve. On my return home I got on the ground, took off the cover over the regulator, turned on the gas and could hear and feel gas escaping from the regulator area. Not through that perforated screen, but an area "behind" and between the two major parts of the regulator system. A long explanation to ask do I need a new regulator? What is the wisdom of the list ? Thanks. Barry Mercer Sudbury. Moo - '88 westy with 250k Km.
