I pulled my old rad out of my '84. It's heavier than my new Behr (which BTW I can see the VW logo scratched out of the side, right under the Behr sticker!). I was expeting my old rad to be all metal but the two sides are plastic, just like my new one. Is this a replacement rad or did they have those plastic sides back in '84. Thanks Pascal '84 Westy
