Subject:Re: Water and Battery LEDs dead - fix

Thanks for all your help so far...

For some strange reason I can't locate the fuse box - it's supposed to
be under the belt retractor at the base of the column; but it's not
there...nor inside the cabinet (previous owner may have moved it?)

Fridge works great on all settings. I filled up the water tank and tried
to use the tap and it didn't do anything so I know it's dead, not just
the LEDS.

I thought I might try and 'follow' the wires and see where they take
me..then get out the voltmeter.I'd really like to find that fusebox
though! I'm sure that is the source of the problem - based on the
condition of everything else on the bus. Other than that any ideas?

Thanks

I concur with Frank C. If none of the LED's work, it is usually the
small toggle switch gone bad. (but first check the fuses behind the
drivers seat)

Pull out the LED panel (remove 2 screws then wire grommet and pull away
from the back case) leave it all connected and jiggle the switch and/or
use a wire to jumper the switch contacts on back of the PC board....and
check the LED solder connections too.

While you are in there, I suggest you replace the Fridge "propane
burning" LED with a bright blue LED from Radio Shack, part number
276-316. Much easier to see the bright blue LED when lighting the
fridge than the factory LED or the flame through the fridge's sight
glass. Make sure you install the new LED with correct polarity.

overheat the board).
