Greetings,

   I had, what I thought was a Vanagon flywheel resurfaced. I attached it to
engine but alas, the clutch was slightly too big!? What the heck? This one
has a pressure plate opening of about 215mm. What is it? It fits the 2.1L
crank and has the same bolt hole pattern and inner sealing groove.

  I thought it might be a 1.9L but no, I see now they use the same 228mm.
Any guesses?

 I had another flywheel that I was sure was a Vanagon so I had to resurface
it. Anyway, Bessie is back on the road!
