Boats tend to sit for much longer between runs, and also sit in more moisture-rich environments. Then again the same applies to some people's vanagons. Also the geling issues I've heard about arise when existing MBTE fuel is mixed with e10, and the lower octane danger arises if e10 is used in a tank that already has a good amount of water in it. The e10 is about the same as running a tank with HEET or another gas "dryer" added to it, with the same complications if you already had problems(water in the tank, lot's of varnish/rust) and didn't know about it. Jim Akiba -----Original Message----- I don't see any reason why the performance of our rigs would act any different that a boat engine in this regard. Could be the gremlin that has plagued many people on this list.
