Subject:Hot clutch works, cold clutch doesn't
From:Christopher Gronski

I have been having a longstanding issue with my clutch pedal on my 86
syncro. Often, particularly in cold weather, it is pretty much
non-functional. Sometimes, often in hot weather, it works perfectly,
or will work fine if you pump the brake pedal a couple of times.

Two different VW mechanics have attempted to bleed the hydraulic
system. The master and slave are both basically new. Fluid is clean,
new, and at the proper level.

I am pretty much convinced that it's air in the system but if bleeding
it doesn't work what is the next step?
