Hi Zoltan , all- My starter is toast and so my engine is idling as I wi-fi this. I have three Vanagon Diesel starters at home and one rebuilt one in my other 82 Vanagon. Now I need to see who I know can go to my house get it and ship it . Shipping it to where? Well, it looks like Boston. I have no more time to work on this car- unless i get lucky and find a junnkyard along the way (us 80 and 74). I'll check with friends Ed and Staeve later at my night stop for wi-fi. Any one knows of junkyards in Nebraska or Iowa let me know.Yes, I know what you are thinking- do they even have vanagons there?
