If there were signs of previous handles, I wouldn't be so astonished.

Nothing, zip, nada, in an '84 GLK, an '86 Weekender & a '91 Westy.

I've never seen such a handle before in Timmy's '84 Westy or PJ's '90 or
Nancy & Terry's '87 Weekender or any of the 6 or 8 other vans I've spent
time in.

I'm sorta wondering what they are used for?
