I'm looking for the shift linkage (i.e the front, center, and rear
shift rods and all associated bushings and clamps) from an aircooled or
diesel vanagon (80-83), 091 style transmission. I'd be happy to pay for
them. Visited 6 Pick n' Pulls on Tuesday and found two aircooled vans,
both automatics. Ugh.
     I need the linkage so I can take my I4 converted vanagon out for a
first drive. I put an Audi 3A code engine in it, run with a Jetronic fuel
injection system (with an air mass meter) following the designs, advice
and posts of Frank Grunthaner. The van recently arose from surgery like
Frankenstien's monster, and I need to get it on the road before it demands
a mate.
