Sounds like a Canadian market Westy. The Plastic Vent Jim refers to is for the Waste Water/Sewer Line and was mandatory on Canadian-bound Westy's thru 1983. USA bound Westy's did not have this feature, but a lot of Canadian market ones are running around the Pacific Northwest area. -- Jim Thompson 84 GL 1.9 "Gloria" 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 73 K Ghia Coupe "Denise" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com *********************************** On 6/8/07, Jim Felder <felder@knology.net> wrote: > > I live near Huntsville, AL, halfway between Nashville and Birmingham . > > There's a brown 80 westy at a sell-your-own lot with a straight body > and bumpers to die for, 20K miles on rebuilt engine, good tires, > $2500.
