  Look on eBay.  I've used Infinity speakers  in the stock locations before.  The speakers came with mounting tabs which I bent back to fit the speakers inside of stock grilles.  I had no clearance problems and potential thieves could not tell I had nice sounding, for the size, speakers.  I also used a 10'' dual coil Bazooka brand sub inside a Q-logic enclosure running off a 300 watt mono amp mounted under the drivers seat.  The Infinity speakers were driven by a Sony head unit which put out an honest 50Wx4.  I used the internal Sony crossover and EQ to tune the sound.

  That was in my '85 Westy.  My current '84 Westy has no radio, only a custom built cup holder, and I'm keeping it that way.  :-)
