well frank i guess it would be *even easier* if you just unscrewed the mirror
from the door and then chopped off all the wires alltogether with your handy
wire cutter or bowie knife, huh   :<P  seems like most of the mirrors ive seen
FS on samba or whatever are like that..  wire splicing is fun!   *rolls eyes*
