Turning the screw in, does open the valve, but it will adjust the lifter over a bit of time, so I am probably okay with just zero, plus 1 1/2 turns. Gonna go for it in a day or two, when I get hydrated back to normal... Essentially, I have three holes at about 23% leak, but one is nearly 55%, so I am still up against it.. Its now time to consider the effort and details of dropping the engine. I do not wish to pull the head with the engine in the van....My kingdom for a lift <shrug> working on cars is great fun. Getting under, and flopping around, is taking its toll.... Thank you very much for taking the time to get me past this point of no comprehension.... Onward..... Much obliged Mike. John
