Finally, I'm reminded of what has been a long and usually forgotten
puzzlement for me.

In Benny's photo of the camper internal view, there is a round fixture near
the floor beneath the AC input fixture and just forward of the seat facing
near the floor.  It is an aluminum or other light metal fixture.  I have
never figured out on my 84 what that outlet is designed to do.
