The squealing is audible at idle, but really picks up when you hit the engine. Directly tied to rpms. I got out a hose to isolate the noise. Could have sworn it was coming from around the alternator. Tried tightening the belt (it is a few weeks old so I didn't replace) and swapping the alternator with an extra I had on hand. No change. Any ideas? Thanks as always... Wes '83 1.9l
