I did the rock star thing for years and then changed my priorities to the family life. My pro bass gear was just sitting collecting dust. I started seeing other things when I looked at it; I wouldn't see a bass amp, I'd see a new van to haul the chitlins around. So I saw this 84 GL on CL here in Bend, Oregon and contacted the guy about trading. Turns out he's a musician. So I traded my dream amp, a 700 watt Trace Elliot AHSMX350 Head and a 4x10 Mesa cabinet for it. I'm convinced if the guy had cleaned it a bit he'd have sold it so fast. As it is, it's perfect for the family. It is missing the middle 2 seat-er bench and needs one seat belt for the rear bench and a speedo cable. That's it. Oh yeah, and now I'm worried and it's getting fuel lines. Brendan Slevin 84 GL Totoro I have measured out my life with coffee spoons. -T.S. Brendan, Welcome! Best of luck with your new arraignment. Could you be more specific regarding the trade? Many of us are contemplating a reverse trade. Photos of the musical equipment would be great! Hello all. I am new to the list. I just traded some musical equipment for a 1984 GL that I now love (the kids do too!) I am sure I'll find this list an indispensable resource in sorting out the couple issues it has. Thank you! Brendan Slevin 84 GL " Totoro" I have measured out my life with coffee spoons. -T.S. Eliot
