Patti,
Call Volkswagen and give them your VIN. It just takes a few minutes
and they will advise you on where to take your Vanagon to have the
recalls installed. I had mine done 2 years ago. The dealer will order
the parts and call you when parts are received to make an appointment
for the service work.
