One thing I didn't mention in my post about the Norcold hookup was that I used Anderson Powerpole connectors for everything, all connections for the system. Small 30 amp connectors for to Norcold and lager, one piece 75 amp connectors for all the rest of the wiring for charging circuits. The large ones are overkill but easy to work with and to the scale of the #10 wire I used for ataching the solar panel or charger. I detest cigarette lighter plugs for anything even though I use them. About the only thing I can say good about them is that most such cords/connectors have a fuse built into the plug. But any line I run anywhere is fused already. I've always found cigarette lighter plugs high resistance, fragile and awkward. When I get the chance my aux battery supply for things like my laptop, TV/DVD player, etc. will all be changed to the small Anderson Powerpole connectors or the SAE offset connectors used often on solar panels, sometimes called Ford connectors or Trailer connectors. Buyt I agree with your model, that is in fact what I set up, a single connector for the battery, change plugs for solar vs generator. And a switch has come to mind also.
