Hi all. Checked archives and found old emails people had sent regarding my Dometic. Lots of helpful info. Thanks! I didn't see what I need to know though..... Got the refer on the bench, and am looking into my air intake cooling idea and doing some maintenance (burping/mods) while it's out. I re-used seal on combustion chamber last time I cleaned it out. I'm hesitant to re-use it again. If I can't find a new seal for combustion chamber, can high temp RV sealant (or better??) be applied to exterior joint of combustion chamber to ensure a good seal? New would be best, but am looking for alternatives if ness. Many thanks, -- Neil Nicholson. 1981 Air Cooled Westfalia. http://web.mac.com/tubaneil
