Subject:AC blower--access w/o dropping AC?

Hey folks,

My AC's blowing cold, but the blower motor squeals like an animal when I hit
a bump. Is there some way to get at the blower motor, fan, etc. without
dropping the whole unit? If not, how much of a PITA to drop it? Curiously,
not a whole lot in the archives about squealing AC blower motors.
