My friend's father opened a CV axle repair shop a while back; he rebuilt his
axles with Rockford boots.
At the time I had a Scirocco and another friend had a MK1 GTI.
We both were in need of new boots and purchased Rockford boots from
above-mentioned friend's father.
4 of the 8 total boots we purchased failed after about 2 months on our
vehicles.
I could understand if one boot failed, but 50% is a bit high.
Needless to say, I would never buy Rockford again.
I have had good luck with brands like Febi-Bilstein and Meistersatz.
