Hi all. Did a lot of work on my Dometic, but it's not cooling on LP. :( So..... Before I took it apart, it cooled on LP and AC. Currently it cools only on AC After assembled, fridge lit, but didn't cool. (used BBQ tank outside) No real heat going into 1st set of condenser fins. Could feel that on AC. It was around 80 F outside, but it should have at least cooled a little. Took apart combustion chamber to check things. All assembled correctly. Thermostat works. Flame goes down at min, (I hear a click) then it goes up after turning therm knob. (albeit "full flame" as ~ 75 F inside fridge) All insualtion was in, but here's one question: Are these pipes too far apart? (about 1/2' at end just before the brass nut) http://web.mac.com/tubaneil/iWeb/Site%205/TooFar.html Maybe I moved the exhaust pipe when tightening brass nut down. I have read that they have to be fairly close together to transfer heat to refrigerant tube. Many thanks for any help. I'm stumped.
