I checked the resistance between the negative (ground) therminal on the fuel pump and the negative terminal on the battery and got 0.01ohms of resistance. I also tried replacing both relays (temporarily) and that did not fix the problem. BUT i was able to get the car to start and run perfectly, and start over and over for a few minutes, then it returned to its state of death. I have not yet run a new ground wire to the engine (from the fuel pump) but its looking dismal as that being the problem. -Craig '85GL On 8/6/07, Jeff Lincoln <magikvw@gmail.com> wrote: > > Craig - > > I can't speak as an authority but I wired my pump backwards once as well - > it did not hurt the pump.
