The new fuel pump and filter is in. I'm still picking dirt out from my eyes.
Nobody warned me about that fuel filter bracket that is held on by 1mm of
dry rotted rubber on one side and a twist tie on the other where the rubber
rotted off years ago.  Geez. :)  I "fixed" the old one but would love to
find a new replacement.  Anyway, the van seems to be running fine. The old
pump still had a "Re-Elect Reagan in '84" sticker on it so I believe it was
quite old.*
