VanagonWiki.net is now up and running. Sudhir banged it together with
some spare parts he had in the basement, I reckon. I dumped in some
rudimentary initial structure. Content-free, as is typical of the stuff
I write.
And you'll find a logo that is a lawsuit waiting to happen (heh).
It's waiting for your help.
If you're some kind of expert on, say, the care and feeding of the
Vanagon air conditioning system, or know how to troubleshoot a
non-starting Vanagon pretty good, then it's darn easy to register with
the wiki and start figuring out how to add pages (that said, the help
files are fairly opaque to me, I just winged it).
You could just find that gem of knowhow that you posted here three
months ago that got that fellow's engine started and email it to
VanagonArticles@gmail.com and some underpaid geek will post it on the
site for you.
Also, if you find an article which you consider to be inaccurate, or
unclear, you can edit it.
VanagonWiki is meant to be on-purpose, there are no Fryedays. Mess up an
article or create some page about your pet political peeve or favorite
band and the dark lords of the wiki have the power to find your house
and egg the $hit out of it.
That said, who wants to start typing in the section headers from the
Bentley for
http://vanagonwiki.net/index.php/Tech_Pages_organized_by_Bentley_number_scheme.
(An idea lifted from John Meeks' excellent Vanagonauts.com site)
