I am going to paint my Vanagon. It is an 1983 Westfalia. The original color is not my favorite. I am trying to decide if it is a bad idea to go away from original. If I do go away from original the next question is should I pick an existing color option from that year? Or should I simply pick my favorite color? I really can't decide. I am leaning toward an exising VW color for that year. I like the two tone White/Blue. I also like the escorial green LT6A. I got this code from http://www.gti16v.com/vwcc1983.htm. Is this in fact a color option? I have never seen one this color.
