Subject:Re: Clutch slave r+r from bracket: What Works?

Thanks, Miquel.

I should have been clearer. I'm following the Bentley,
and this is a syncro so I've got the mount bolts of
and the engine is slanting down the recommended amount
(lowered 6" at the rear flange) plus a little more.

The problem is getting access to the bolt at the back
of the slave bracket, which is actually up inside the
bracket and I can't really get to it on the underneath
side while the slave itself is in place. The top
-where the nut is - isnt that much easier, either.
I've got the cooling hoses disconnected from the
bellhousing of course, but there is little real room
to move a wrench back there.

Maybe a ratchet box 13mm would work, I dunno cause I
don't have one, but even then I'm afraid there isn't
clearance for one because of the closeness of the body
of the slave cylinder.

thanks again

Tom F.
