Hi, A single source for "ALL campgrounds in a given area"? Doubt it! It wouldn't stay current for very long. Particularly, the private campgrounds seem to change name/ownership as often as I change socks! Sounds like a perfect addition to the Vanagon Wiki, since everyone who uses it can help keep it up-to-date: http://vanagonwiki.net , or http://www.vanagonwiki.net . AAA (the Auto Club) (at least in CA) is now producing maps titled "Camping" and here subtitled "Northern California" and "Southern California". They include most of the public-agency campgrounds (including some as deep as city level) and even some private campgrounds. If you poke at your state's Auto Club, maybe you can find a comparable map? There are many campground review sites on the web. Some are oriented towards RV'ers and some towards tent campers and some towards backpackers. Also, Micro$quish MapPoint has many campgrounds in their database: http://www.microsoft.com/mappoint/default.mspx Oriented specifically towards camper-vanners, we have a wonderful burgeoning resource in the RoadHaus campground review site: http://www.roadhaus.com/camp.php B&S '87 Westy 'Esmerelda Blanc' SoCal On Sun, 26 Aug 2007 18:42:16 -0700, you wrote: >Chris Flat sounds right to me, and the campground map looks like I >remember.
