It sounds like your engine is doing ok in open loop mode (ignoring sensor
input) but then when the ECU tries to go closed loop, you're having problems.

Start by doing the ECU pin test described in Bentley. Using your VOM you can
check most of the FI components electrically. If all the pins test good,
move on, but that's the place to start.

I doubt this is your temp 2 sensor. Your symptoms are too extreme.
