Try the Sumitomo HTR 200.  I use them and they are just fine.

Did you hear about that that the RA08 is not manufactured any more? And
what would be your suggestion to get a cheap, reliable and nice tire
onto my vanagon (195/14). I know, Continental an others have tires that
fit, but they are quite expensive.
