<Is there any reason not to go to a pep boys/sears or something similar for this? (They'll be open on Saturday is the advantage.)> YES! The "mechanics" there now little about cars in general let alone Vanagons. If I broke down in front of a Pep Boys I wouldn't let them look at it!
