I really like this idea. I recall you bringing it up when others have
asked about pulling the engine. Thanks for that.

The problem arises when its an air cooled engine, as there is no place
to attach the chain, due to the engine tin.

Heck, I would settle for renting a hoist, and letting it lower the
engine, rather than dropping it with a jack, which sounds like nothing
but fun to me, but no place to hook it up.....
