I went to the National Capitol Area VW club reunion today, it was a very nice time, and I would like to thank David and his wife for hosting it. It's not often I get to sit and chat with fellow VW enthusiasts. It's a shame the club has long since folded, but in a large metro area like Washington DC it's hard to get folks together at a time and place that suits everyone. There were 3 Vanagons there, all Subaru powered. I was going to take mine, and it is still (for now) VW powered. However, there was an Ebay auction for a motorcycle I really wanted, and I was afraid my wasserboxer would let me down (tho it has been running perfectly lately) and i HAD to be home by 7:30. So, I took my Honda Element. Happy to say I made it home, and I will be going to pick up my "new" Yamaha Virago 1100 on Thursday. If you come to Buses By The Trax this weekend, I will most likely have the Yamaha in tow.
