I park mine on a hill and have had the Dometic running pretty much 24/7 for
the last two years,  without a problem. There must be some grade percentage
over which damage is done: we can't all be expected to camp on perfectly
level ground. Given my own experience--others' may vary--I wouldn't let it
keep you from a good night's sleep.
