Yeah, I didn't see the prices before I jumped in on this one. Sounds like a military-type solution--maybe we could get grants from DOD? OTOH, it does seem like you could cannibalize an old Honda generator and stick a pulley on it, etc., etc., to get 100 VAC--no?
